A sonic celebration of Lake Merritt. Weaving together field recordings and interviews conducted in and around the Lake, Here Is Where We Meet explores the unique diversity and biodiversity found around the Lake, the myriad ways that everyday Oaklanders engage with it and each other, and ultimately asks: how - in this time of rapid gentrification and change - can Lake Merritt and, in turn, Oakland be a place for everyone?
